TURKISH PASSPORT AND TYPES

REPUBLIC OF TURKEY PASSPORT TYPES
1- Diplomatic passports are passports with a black outer colour. There are no fees for the diplomatic passport. A person with this passport can enter 151 countries without a visa and stay in the country for a certain period of time. The diplomatic passport is considered to be the most comprehensive passport issued by the Republic of Turkey.
2- Special passports are issued to first, second and third degree civil servants and other public servants whose outer color is green and who are planning to go abroad for a foreign mission or trip.
The spouse and children of a special pass holder under the age of 25 can benefit from this pass. As in the diplomatic passport, children who have a proven disability and are in need of care can also have a special passport. Those considering obtaining a special pass should contact the province's General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs. 3- Service passports are accepted as special passports with a gray outer cover color. A service passport is issued to persons who frequently have to go abroad due to official duties, but are not entitled to a diplomatic passport. It is awarded to civil servants, officials in international organizations and people seconded by the Turkish Aviation Association and the Turkish Red Crescent.
Obtaining a service pass requires a service pass application form approved by the authorized supervisor at the public office where the individual works, biometric photos, original identification, and a consent form for those under the age of 18 and those with disabilities .
4- Ordinary passports are the passports obtained by the citizens of the Republic of Turkey by applying in person. Ordinary passports, issued individually to everyone regardless of age, are burgundy. In order to obtain this pass, people must apply to the district population directorates.
For ordinary passports, fee and book fee need to be paid. The fees to be paid vary depending on the validity period of the passport. Tuition fees for 2021 are:
