According to the calculations, the economic value amounts to 92 million dollars.

According to TCDD, the estimated construction cost of the project is 11.5 billion liras. After completion of the project, an average of 4.5 million passengers and 10 million tons of cargo will be transported annually.

Antalya is to be connected to Istanbul by high-speed train

When the Antalya-Eskişehir and Antalya-Kayseri high-speed lines are completed, the Antalya-Istanbul travel time will be 5 hours and the Antalya-Ankara travel time will be 4 hours. The 640-kilometer Antalya-Kayseri high-speed rail project, which will connect Antalya with Central Anatolia, means that Antalya's tourism potential will expand more towards Anatolia. The Antalya-Eskişehir high-speed line, the foundation of which was laid in 2016, is scheduled to go into operation in 2020.
